Student COVID Testing Available Starting Thursday, March 4th

As we move towards in-person instruction in Castro Valley Unified schools, our goal is to create a safe environment for our students and staff. CVUSD began testing staff in December 2020 and is now ready to begin testing students. At this point, COVID-19 testing is voluntary. Your participation in this process, however, will help prevent the direct threat of a COVID-19 spread throughout our schools and community.

Reopening Update from Superintendent Ahmadi - March 11, 2021

Yesterday afternoon, the Alameda County Public Health Department announced that we have officially entered the Red Tier after maintaining the required metrics according to the State’s Blueprint for a Safer Economy for a two-week period. This is exciting news for our community and students, as it allows us to move forward with plans to welcome students back to the classroom for in-person learning on Wednesday, March 17th.
